While returning to Bratislava and taking view of local beauty, we couldn’t miss the Melk Abbey. The fact that something absolutely magnificent awaits us was clear from far away.
The sights of the abbey are inspiring, the enormity of the structures leave an indelible impression, and the interior beauty takes one’s breath away. Yearly, usually in June, in the castle takes place an International baroque festival “Barocktage Melk”, featuring soloists and chamber ensembles. Those interested in dancing will have something to check out as well; a baroque dancing workshop “Goûter La Danse”.
