Two good news: there’s a possibility that in 2017 will take place a premiere of Verdi’s Aida in my dear Saratov theatre of opera and ballet. This performance has been included in this theatre’s repertoir for a long time; I remember about magnificent temperamental Amneris from the 4th act – my wonderful teacher Lilia Belova, now a professor of Saratov conservatory.
The second thing is a forthcoming premiere of Tosca in the place that have become darling to me, State opera of Banska Bystrica. The director has arrived from Saint-Petersburg (a dear place again!) – remarkable Fabio Mastrangelo. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all them!
