Dear friends, the 75th anniversary of the Victory over Fascism. Literally each and every Russian has shared the memories of their relatives, fighting on the battle fronts of the World War II. People are posting photos, reading poems, performing war songs. I have decided to take action in memory of the greatest victory of my country as well, so I’ve recorded Maiden’s arioso from the “Alexander Nevsky” cantata by Sergei Prokofiev. This aria conveys the feeling that I’ve met this celebration with very well – deep grief about millions of deceased. We remember you, we are proud of your heroic deed, lest we forget.
